The BPA-Free Plastic Closed Tray/Divider is used to split the available drying area into two.
Place the closed tray/divider in a center slot in place of a regular drying tray to more efficiently dehydrate using only one half of the machine if you do not want to dehydrate using the entire machine. This helps the machine use less electricity while allowing the heat to be contained in one half of the dehydrator.
